applied by ECEC services during COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rch.org.au\/ccch\/research-projects\/covid19_and_ecec\/\">collaborative project<\/a> has launched new resources to help early childhood education and care (ECEC) services use co-design to address local challenges and to share helpful strategies to support educator wellbeing and family engagement during COVID-19.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Family engagement in early childhood education and care and educator wellbeing are essential factors<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aracy.org.au\/publications-resources\/area?command=record&amp;id=302&amp;cid=6\"> to ensure the best outcomes for children.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The impact of\u00a0restrictions\u00a0during COVID-19 presented unique challenges\u00a0for early\u00a0learning services.\u200b Educators demonstrated creativity and innovation to maintain partnerships with\u00a0families, providing a vital support for children and families during the pandemic.\u200b<\/p>\n<p>A collaboration between the Centre for Community Child Health, Research in\u00a0Effective Education in Early Childhood Hub (REEaCh)\u00a0at Melbourne Graduate School of Education and\u00a0Goodstart\u00a0Early Learning provided an opportunity to examine and <a href=\"https:\/\/education.unimelb.edu.au\/REEaCh\/publications\/project-resources\/family-engagement-and-educator-wellbeing-resources\">share resources<\/a> on innovative strategies applied by early childhood education and care (ECEC) services during COVID-19 to support family engagement and educator wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the resources<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a shares case study examples of innovative strategies used by ECEC services to support educator wellbeing and family engagement during COVID-19.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/education.unimelb.edu.au\/__data\/assets\/pdf_file\/0008\/4357088\/220809-Supporting-Educator-Wellbeing-and-Family-Engagement-A4-_v2.pdf\"><strong>Research and practice brief:<\/strong><\/a> This brief provides a summary of the research underpinning the collaborative project and the family engagement and educator wellbeing strategies implemented by early learning
