{"id":354,"date":"2012-04-02T05:21:54","date_gmt":"2012-04-02T05:21:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/ccch\/?p=354"},"modified":"2012-04-02T05:21:54","modified_gmt":"2012-04-02T05:21:54","slug":"experts-discuss-place-based-approaches-at-ccch-roundtable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/ccch\/2012\/04\/02\/experts-discuss-place-based-approaches-at-ccch-roundtable\/","title":{"rendered":"Experts discuss place-based approaches at CCCH roundtable"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Community Child Health (CCCH) brought together a group of international and Australian experts to discuss place-based approaches for improving the lives of children and families in Australia at a roundtable discussion on 22 March.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the event was to develop a shared understanding of place-based approaches, the effectiveness of communities as a platform for change and to identify the challenges of developing place-based models and possible solutions.<\/p>\n<p>CCCH has been supporting communities to plan, implement and evaluate local initiatives to improve the lives of children and families for over a decade.
