The Centre along with many leading Australian early childhood researchers, policy makers and practitioners contributed to the development of a declaration to pledge our joint commitment and determination to improving children\u2019s outcomes.<\/p>\n
Led by CoLab – Collaborate for Kids (a Telethon Kids Institute and Minderoo partnership), the declaration is supported by 78 stakeholders with organisations including ARACY,\u00a0Child Australia, the Commissioner for Children and Young People WA, Playgroup WA, the Mitchell Institute, Valuing Children Initiative and WACOSS.<\/p>\n
The declaration pledges a long-term commitment to improving children\u2019s outcomes in the early years and jointly advancing the agenda for early childhood development, policy and practice, particularly for families facing adversity.<\/p>\n
The declaration endorses the evidence we know about the early years and the recommended actions needed to improve young children\u2019s development and learning.<\/p>\n
