development of country kids"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2017, Royal Far West, a not-for-profit organisation providing leadership in rural and remote children\u2019s health and wellbeing, commissioned the Centre for Community Child Health to undertake a review of the health and development and wellbeing of children in rural Australia.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/2y2lBgQ\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2469 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/ccch\/files\/2017\/09\/RFW-report-cover-207x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"207\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/ccch\/files\/2017\/09\/RFW-report-cover-207x300.jpg 207w, https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/ccch\/files\/2017\/09\/RFW-report-cover.jpg 592w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 207px) 100vw, 207px\" \/><\/a>Published in September 2017,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rch.org.au\/ccch\/research-projects\/Reporting_the_Health_and_Development_of_Children_in_Rural_and_Remote_Australia\/?LangType=3081\">Reporting the Health and Development of Children in Rural and Remote Australia<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>profiled the population characteristics of children in rural and remote Australia<\/li>\n<li>identified the current context and the developmental health needs, met and unmet, of vulnerable children and families in rural and remote Australia;
