CCCH was established in 1994 by Founding Director Professor Frank Oberklaid, who continues to run the now 200+ person team.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the year\u2019s celebrations, we have put together a short video of our vision, our achievements and our hopes for the future.<\/p>\n<h3>Centre for Community Child Health video<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/147678395?app_id=122963\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"CCCH 21st anniversary video\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The video features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professor Frank Oberklaid, Centre Director<\/li>\n<li>Associate Professor Jill Sewell AM, Centre Deputy Director<\/li>\n<li>Sue West, Associate Director<\/li>\n<li>Associate Professor Gehan Roberts, Associate Director, Clinical Services<\/li>\n<li>Professor Melissa Wake, Associate Director, Research<\/li>\n<li>Professor Sharon Goldfeld, Associate Director<\/li>\n<li>Associate Professor Harriet Hiscock, Consultant paediatrician and postdoctoral research fellow<\/li>\n<li>Dr Tim Moore, Senior Research Fellow<\/li>\n<li>Dr Zeffie Poulakis and Dr Melinda Barker, Directors, Victorian Infant Hearing Screening Program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>21st anniversary celebration<\/h3>\n<p>The evening\u2019s formalities included accolades from Professor Christine Kilpatrick, CEO of The Royal Children\u2019s Hospital, and Professor Kathryn North, Director of the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, followed by the inspirational words of our special guest, The Honourable Quentin Bryce. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rch.org.au\/ccch\/about\/CCCH_21st_anniversary_celebration#images\">View the image gallery<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Children\u2019s choir, Young Voices of Melbourne, were the perfect accompaniment to the formalities, with their uplifting rendition of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>Sister My Sister<\/i>, a strong arrangement of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>Waltzing Matilda<\/i><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>incorporating Indigenous lyrics, and a rousing rendition of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><i>Happy Birthday<\/i><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>to conclude the entertainment.\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>CCCH would like to thank all of our special guests and key stakeholders who attended the celebration, we look forward to working with you into the future.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rch.org.au\/ccch\/about_us\/\">Find out more about the Centre&#8217;s work<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Community Child Health is 21!
