The foundations for literacy development start very early.<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s Read is an evidence-based initiative that helps early childhood professionals to play a critical role in enhancing children\u2019s early literacy skills.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"rch-darkgrey\"><a class=\"rch-button rch-large-plain ui-button ui-widget ui-state-default ui-corner-all ui-button-text-only\" role=\"button\" href=\"https:\/\/mcri.learnupon.com\/store\/607133-let-s-read-e-learning-course\"><span class=\"ui-button-text\">Enrol in eLearning course<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>What are the benefits of Let\u2019s Read?<\/h2>\n<p>Let&#8217;s Read can help professionals to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>support children to develop foundational literacy skills \u2013 from babies to pre-school age<\/li>\n<li>create environments and experiences that support language and literacy growth<\/li>\n<li>encourage families to share books, songs and nursery rhymes with their children<\/li>\n<li>implement related features of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard in their setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What types of packages are available with Let\u2019s Read?<\/h2>\n<p>Kindergartens and professionals can access any of the following forms of Let\u2019s Read resources using school readiness funds:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Let\u2019s Read eLearning<\/strong>. A 3.5-hour online learning program to provide educators with the knowledge and tools to enhance their early literacy practices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Let\u2019s Read centre-wide package<\/strong>. Unlimited centre-wide eLearning access for 6 months plus additional resources including the Let\u2019s Read poster series and a DVD to inspire families to read at home.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Let\u2019s Read community program.<\/strong> An opportunity for kindergartens to extend the benefits of early literacy to reach children and families in your community.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Cost<\/h2>\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/mcri.learnupon.com\/store\/215860-let-s-read-e-learning-course\">Let\u2019s Read eLearning<\/a>:<\/u> <\/strong>$50 (incl. GST) per person.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong>Let\u2019s Read centre-wide package:<\/strong> <\/u>$500 (incl.
