Reflective Practice
By reflecting on how we interact with all people who influence children’s learning and development we can recognise and take action on changes to enhance our practice.
The Reflective Practice workshop provides educators with the strategies and tools to enable ongoing learning and development using peer-to-peer reflective practice. The workshop draws on and incorporates key principles of the internationally recognised and evidence-based Family Partnership Model.
What are the benefits of Reflective Practice?
After participating in this workshop early childhood educators will be able to:
- harness effective strategies to engage in peer-peer reflective practice
- take action based on reflection to improve children’s learning and development
- evaluate the effectiveness of reflection on practice
- examine the theory underpinning reflective practice.
The workshop provides an opportunity for professionals to practice new skills and strategies and to facilitate reflective practices with colleagues and parents.
