In the photo is Dr Andrew Court, Christine Kilpatrick (CEO RCH), Prof Susan Sawyer, Health Minister Mary Wooldridge and Dr Peter McDougall (Chief of Medicine RCH).<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/cah\/files\/2011\/11\/RCH13.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-1025\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/cah\/files\/2011\/11\/RCH13-200x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Having just won the RCH Team Award for the same program the night before at the 141<sup>st<\/sup> RCH Annual General Meeting and Awards night, Professor Sawyer said that she\u2019d managed to persuade herself that the team couldn\u2019t possibly get up two night in a row.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut as I listened to the Minister for Health, the Minister for Mental Health and the Premier of Victoria each speak in turn about what these awards were about \u2013 excellence, innovation, patient and family centred care, team work, integrated services \u2013 Andrew and I looked at each other and held our breath, knowing that the results we have achieved are as remarkable as they were challenging to acheive.\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd suddenly, it was our turn &#8211; and we won!\u00a0 It was even more of a buzz than the night before\u201d, she said, referring to same team being awarded the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wch.org.au\/rch_awards\/recipients.cfm?doc_id=15059\">RCH Team Award at the 141<sup>st<\/sup> RCH Annual General Meeting and Awards Night<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The award was one of three awards that the RCH took home on the night.<\/p>\n<p>Last night\u2019s award makes it two in a row for the Centre for Adolescent Health. Last<br \/>\nyear, the Chronic Illness Peer Support program was awarded a Premier\u2019s Health<br \/>\nAward for excellence in \u2018Tackling chronic disease and improving public health\u2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another award.
