{"id":684,"date":"2011-06-06T15:05:42","date_gmt":"2011-06-06T05:05:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rch.org.au\/blogs\/cah\/?p=684"},"modified":"2012-04-10T14:11:04","modified_gmt":"2012-04-10T04:11:04","slug":"mary-ann-hope-scholarship-for-secondary-school-nurses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/cah\/2011\/06\/06\/mary-ann-hope-scholarship-for-secondary-school-nurses\/","title":{"rendered":"Mary-Ann Hope Scholarship for Secondary School Nurses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/cah\/files\/2011\/06\/ssnp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-686\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/cah\/files\/2011\/06\/ssnp-200x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>In 2001 the Centre Adolescent Health together with the (then) Vic Department of Health established the Mary-Ann Hope Scholarship, available to secondary school nurses to support their undertaking of\u00a0higher learning in adolescent health\u00a0and welfare.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship is in honor of Mary-Ann Hope who was integral to the establishment of the secondary school nurses program and\u00a0had extensive experience in the field of adolescent health.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, in 2011, the Mary-Ann Hope scholarship has been offered by the Department of Education &amp; Early Childhood Development to a Victorian Secondary School Nurse. This years winner is Kristina Bergin who works at Keilor\u00a0Downs and Taylors Lakes\u00a0Secondary Colleges.
