The competitive award was in response to his presentation of a systematic review to identify the evidence base for the health and wellbeing of Australian Indigenous young people, a collaborative project between Baker IDI, Burnet Institute and the Centre for Adolescent Health, RCH.<\/p>\n<p>The review maps the available evidence, describes current burden of disease and evaluated programmatic approaches for indigenous 10-24 year olds. This year Peter is a Fellow in Adolescent Health and Medicine at the Centre for Adolescent Health \u2013 he is our first trainee to focus on high risk youth, a position which has been made possible through new funding from the Commonwealth of Australia.<\/p>\n<p>His training involves working with vulnerable young people in various clinical<br \/>\nservices including those run by the Centre for Adolescent Health (the Adolescent<br \/>\nForensic Health Service and Young People\u2019s Health Service) and the Victorian<br \/>\nAboriginal Health Service.
