Jenny Macklin MP (Minister of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs), Aunty Joy Murphy- Wandin (Indigenous elder), Professor Frank Oberklaid (Founding Director of Centre for Community Child Health), Professor Susan Sawyer \u00a0(Director, Centre for Adolescent Health)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Centre for Adolescent Healthis playing a key role in contributing new content on adolescent health and development for the Raising Children Network, an Australian government funded evidence-based parenting website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When it started 5 years ago, the website focused on parenting infants and children up to 8 years old. In response to many requests from parents, the new website now extends to 15 years, and in time is expected to extend to older adolescence. A large number of staff at the Centre for Adolescent Health have helped to develop the new material that aims to support parents of adolescents.<\/p>\n<p>With over 19 million hits since its inception, this web resource is a highly trusted and credible resource for Australian families.
