His work defined the unmet needs of the world\u2019s young people and articulated key actions required to improve their health.<\/p>\n<p>Of the world\u2019s population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are 1 in 1,000.\u00a0The Highly Cited Researchers 2024 list from <a href=\"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/highly-cited-researchers\/\">Clarivate<\/a>\u00a0celebrates researchers ranked in the top 1 per cent in the Web of Science citation index, which demonstrates significant influence in their research field.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Patton was highly cited in the cross-field category.
