The CAH is excited to have a new group of volunteers working with us this year! Each volunteer has a background in differing fields of study, bringing with them a variety of skills and knowledge to combine with their central interest in adolescent health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

Eva von Struppi<\/h2>\n

Eva is currently studying a Bachelor of Media and Communication (Advertising) at RMIT University. She is interested in the promotion of medical research and spreading awareness to lesser known issues. After completing her degree, she is hoping to pursue a career in the advertising industry as an art director or social media manager. Eva is excited to be part of the CAH communications team to put her design skills to work and learn more about ongoing\u00a0and future research dealing with adolescent health.<\/p>\n

\"\"Bryce Ding<\/span><\/h2>\n

Bryce is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University. He is interested in pursuing psychiatry or public health policy reform, with a focus on mental health, after completing his university studies. Bryce was drawn to the CAH communications role as it provided an opportunity to apply and further develop his communication skills in the realm of public health research.<\/p>\n

\"\"Meghna Kadalbajoo<\/h2>\n

Meghna is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in psychology. She is particularly interested in mood disorders and substance use in young people. After completing her Arts degree, she is hoping to pursue Honours in Psychology. She is excited to be a part of the CATS team and can\u2019t wait to learn more about puberty and the transition from childhood to adolescence.<\/p>\n

Jennah Alonso<\/h2>\n

Jennah is currently completing her Honours in Psychology, looking at the effect of parental beliefs on help-seeking for emotional and behavioural difficulties in children. In the\u00a0future she hopes to pursue a career in Developmental and Educational Psychology. Jennah is excited to be volunteering with the CATS team, and looks forward to gaining experience in a research team.<\/p>\n

Maxine Gross<\/h2>\n

Maxine joined the 2000 stories team in 2018 as a volunteer while undertaking her Masters of Public Health at Melbourne University. Maxine is interested in developmental psychology, longitudinal studies and population mental health promotion. She is thrilled to be a part of the 2000 stories team and is eager to learn more about generational studies.<\/p>\n

Jessica Tyler<\/h2>\n

Jess started volunteering for 2000 stories in 2018 while completing her Masters of Public Health at Melbourne University. She has an interest in family research and is currently conducting a research project on the psychological wellbeing of Australian Twins as a part of her studies.\u00a0 She is excited to learn more about family longitudinal studies with the 2000 stories team.<\/p>\n

Juliet Matskarofski<\/h2>\n

Juliet is a recent Bachelor of Arts \/ Bachelor of Health Science graduate in Anthropology and Public Health. She has a passion for child- and adolescent- health, with her primary topics of interest being nutrition and physical activity. Juliet was drawn to the Murdoch Children\u2019s Research Institute as a pathway to pursue her dream career in research and evaluation. She is thrilled to be a part of the team at the Centre for Adolescent Health, and for the opportunity to apply, and further develop, her skills in research and analysis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
