Coon Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioural Sciences in the Medical School at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. She is one of the most prominent researchers in the area of mental health of youth in the juvenile justice system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Pamela Snow<\/strong> &#8211; Head of the Rural Health School at La Trobe University, and a registered psychologist, having qualified originally in speech pathology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prof. Stuart Kinner<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0NHMRC Senior Research Fellow with cross-faculty membership of the Griffith Criminology Institute and Menzies Health Institute Queensland. He also holds Honorary appointments at The University of Melbourne, Monash University, University of Queensland, and Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. His\u00a0research focusses on health and social outcomes for young people and adults who cycle through the criminal justice system.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Prof. Kerry Arabena<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0Chair for Indigenous Health and Director of the Indigenous Health Equity Unit at The University of Melbourne.\u00a0 She is the Lead Investigator on the Australian Model of the First 1000 Days Study, an interventions based pre-birth cohort study designed with and for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr Ian Lanyon<\/strong> &#8211; Director of Secure Services, Department of Health &amp; Human Services, which oversees Youth Justice Custodial Services, Secure Welfare Services and Disability Forensic Assessment &amp; Treatment Services in Victoria.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panelists and Panel Chairs:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr Rohan Borschmann<\/li>\n<li>Mr David Braddock<\/li>\n<li>Dr David Broderick<\/li>\n<li>Mr Andrew Bruun<\/li>\n<li>Ms Liana Buchanan<\/li>\n<li>Professor Andrew Chanen<\/li>\n<li>Mr Julian Cleary<\/li>\n<li>Dr Mick Creati<\/li>\n<li>Dr Jill Guthrie<\/li>\n<li>Mr Andrew Jackomos<\/li>\n<li>Mr Brendan Murray<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Centre for Adolescent Health is happy to host Prof. Linda Teplin who is visiting from Chicago.
