David\u2019s career achievements are well known to many of our alumni but include:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2450 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.rch.org.au\/alumni\/files\/2023\/06\/DavidHill.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"188\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Director, Department of Allergy and Immunology at RCH from 1990-2006;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Senior Consultant Allergist at MCRI since 2006. \u00a0David has been an author on over 180 scientific papers on asthma and food allergic disorders of children;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Vice-President and Secretary-General of the \u00a0Trans Pacific Immunology Society;<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chair of the Asia-Pacific Basin Region Committee of American Academy of Asthma Allergy and Immunology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Many congratulations to David on this well-deserved recognition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations to Dr David Hill who was honoured by being appointed as Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the recent King&#8217;s Birthday honours list.
